Length
Every move is available in 5 seconds, which is enough for the “dime dime baby” hook. Quince Classic also comes in 10 seconds: the dance continues across the floor and moves toward the camera. The other moves are 5 seconds for now, because their reference dances are short and a longer video would have to invent the extra moves.
Aspect ratio and resolution
Videos are vertical 9:16, the full-screen format of TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, so you don’t need to crop them. They are rendered at 720p, which looks sharp on a phone screen.
Sound
The video comes without sound. The song is copyrighted, and adding it inside the app keeps your post licensed and linked to the trend. Here is how to add the song.
File and download
When the video is ready, tap Download video to save the MP4. Finished videos are also saved in My Creations, so you can download them again later.
Cost and credits
Credits come in one-time packs, starting at $9.99 for 10 credits, which is one 5-second video. There is no subscription. Credits are valid for 180 days, and if a generation fails, its credits go back to your balance automatically. See pricing for every pack.
Photo requirements
- JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB.
- One person, facing the camera, in good light.
- Full-body, vertical photos work best.
- You must own the photo or have permission from the person in it. No minors and no public figures.
What stays the same and what changes
Your face, hairstyle, skin tone, body shape and outfit come from your photo. The moves, rhythm and camera framing come from the move you pick, and each move has its own setting, like the quinceañera ballroom of Quince Classic. The step-by-step guide shows how to pick a photo and a move.
